This photo was taken in Rush Valley in 2025. I happened to look in my rear view mirror and saw the scene. I went back and took the shot.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning once wrote “Earth’s crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; But only he who sees, takes off his shoes. The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.”

This image reminds me there is a God in the heavens; that I am a steward of this earth; that my mind is minute in comparison to the knowledge and mind of God; that I am to love people and help them through their respective journeys, in as much as I am able; that I must live my life in such a way that I can be with God again; such that I can feel peace and comfort from God right now and in the world to come.
